Assalamu Alaikum,
I believe that considering a method of implementing a personalised spaced repetition algorithm with the help of AI would be extremely beneficial to all students of Hifdh.
For example, being able to create a session (e.g 1 page or a quarter Juz) and being tested by the AI. Based on your performance it will suggest a next review date. This should be separate from the regular AI that tests you.
For example, if I were to practice x page and eventually get to a level where I feel confident, I should be able to choose an AI that tests me for the purpose of long term memorisation. Based on my performance, the next review date may be in two days. If I read with no mistakes on that day, the algorithm would calculate when the next most optimal day would be in respect to all the other Hifdh you are doing. (This is also why the conventional method of spaced repetition is difficult with large amounts of information as the sheer volume can become overwhelming)

This is to give feedback on the latest spot testing feature. It’s nice and great but isn’t what I was expecting. For one, why is it cards? I believe it should be going to the actual page and hiding the verses and showing what comes before it, ( or have settings for that. Also it shouldn’t just be one verse that you’re tested on, you should have the option to keep on going. Jazakum Allah Khair for your efforts.

basherdawah313 If it showed you the page that would be too much of a hint for your brain and take away from the strength of the test. Also, if you have a Premium subscription there is no limit on the number of questions and you can also choose the number of lines you need to recite (not just one ayah).

I used this feature and found that despite I read it correctly, it still gives me a mistake and i feel its very strict where it gaves me 0% just being mistakenly read things, i would appreciate it not to be strict as it cause me stress while reviewing

The task function has been tried for review and it is nice to make a list of tasks each day for review
But it's important to see the task lists for the coming days
So I know when it will be the turn to review a specific surah

Mohamed Moussa That’s a great addition. I would suggest evaluating the recitation based on the number of mistakes relative to the total number of words or ayat recited. Currently, even a single mistake in a passage can result in the entire passage being counted as incorrect, which can be quite discouraging.
We all want to encourage strong, accurate hifdh, while also having an evaluation system that fairly reflects the student’s overall level of memorization and accuracy.

Please consider revising the grading method as a single mistake is considered a wrong answer for the whole question (marked with red).
Also consider an option to choose the difficulty of the test based on the previous mistakes

Please it's very good more than I expect but I don't know if the tickets appear should be same shape of Wajh or same as you are present.
I make mistakes in some Aya never done before only because it's not compatible with wajh in my memory.

mohbaiomy You should be able to recite without the ayat in front of you. If you have the wajh in your mind you can recite based on that because it's part of your memory, but the app itself showing that wajh would be a hint that takes away from the strength of the test.

The app currently shows a green bar for surahs which have been correctly memorized, but memorization also depends on how long it has been since one last revised an ayah. Hence, the app should perhaps reduce the green colour of surahs which haven't been revised in a while.
