Subject: Feature Request: Home Screen Widgets (Today's Goal, Activity, and Engagement)
💡 The Core Idea
To increase daily user retention and help users stay consistent with their Quran goals, I would love to see Home Screen Widgets implemented for iOS and Android.
A widget would serve as a beautiful, ambient reminder on the user's home screen, reducing the friction of opening the app and keeping their spiritual goals top-of-mind.
🛠️ Proposed Widget Types & Features
I recommend a few different widget sizes (Small, Medium, Large) displaying the following key metrics:
• Today’s Goal: A visual progress ring or percentage bar showing how much of their daily reading/memorization goal they have completed today.
• Activity Tracker & Engagement: A mini habit-streak calendar (e.g., a 7-day view of lit-up days) to motivate users to keep their streak alive.
• Pages/Verses Read: A quick stat counter showing the number of pages, verses, or minutes listened to/read today.
• Quick Actions: A one-tap "Resume Reading" or "Start Tracking" button built right into the widget to launch directly into the AI simulator or last-read page.
🚀 Why This Matters for Tarteel Users
• Frictionless Consistency: Users are much more likely to hit their daily goals if their progress is staring back at them every time they unlock their phone.
• Visual Motivation: Seeing a streak or a half-filled progress ring leverages positive psychology to encourage a quick reading session.
• Modern App Experience: As a premium AI-powered app, adding robust widget support aligns perfectly with modern OS capabilities and user expectations.
Thank you for your continuous hard work in making Quran interaction so innovative 📚
